If Central is your church home, we encourage you to continue your tithes and offerings during this season. In so many ways, the work of Central is more important than ever before as we step up to serve those lacking important resources of daily living. You can give one time or set up a recurring payment by clicking on the donate button to the right. 

DIAPER DRIVE FOR PROJECT HOME
With concern for health and safety during the Covid-19 pandemic, Project Home's model has shifted so that families with children are being housed in hotel rooms in downtown St. Paul.  At this tie, these families are in need of diapers and baby wipes.  One of the best ways we can support these families during this time is by donating baby diapers and wipes to be safely delivered to the families.  At this time, toddler sizes 5 and  6 are the ones most requested, though baby/toddler diapers of all sizes are accepted.

If you would like to make a donation, simply drop it off at the Central on Sunday, August 9 and 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Central’s MPR Lot entrance, or Wednesday, August 12 or Thursday, August 13 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the church office. For the Wednesday / Thursday drop-offs, please call ahead to the church office at (651) 224-4728 to give a heads up of your arrival to be sure someone is in the office to buzz you in.

UPCOMING NEW MEMBER CLASSES
Interested in becoming a member of Central? While this unusual time may prevent us from sharing in an in person class, we are able to still offer the opportunity through Zoom teleconference events. The pastor and folks from the New Members and Volunteers Committee will hold a conversation for people interested in learning more about Central and how to get more involved.  We will share and learn about others, talk about the facilities, ask questions and explore the role of faith in our lives.  Save the date for a two-part class on Sundays, August 9 and 16 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. RSVP to Rev. Colby to secure your spot in the class and have the Zoom information sent to you. Hope you will join us! 

SAVE THE DATE - WOMEN’S NETWORKING DINNER
The Women of Central took a short break from networking gatherings, but are ready to go in August!  There will be a Zoom networking event on Monday, August 10 from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.  (Watch the mid-week eConnect email for the Zoom link.)

CENTRAL CONNECTION CIRCLES - ONLY 2 MORE WEEKS!
Join the Deacon’s Connection Circles this Thursday as the current series continues. These weekly teleconference Zoom sessions are offered as an opportunity for our Central community to gather and connect through directed conversations - sharing concerns and offering support with others.  If you have not yet been a part of one, we invite you to stop by for this wonderful, casual gathering. Connection Circles run every Thursday until August 13 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.  Be a part of one or as many as you like
