Worship Online

Central’s Session has agreed that it is in the best interest of all who worship at Central, and all who are served by our community, to cancel all in-person worship and activities at Central until further notice. Every Sunday, new content will be posted to this page for a worship-on-demand experience that you can view anytime throughout the week. For those without regular internet access, we are mailing worship materials via postal mail. If you have limited web access or know of someone in need of mailed content, please contact Anna Sanchez or call (651) 224-4748.

Children’s Time

Children and Youth Ministry Director Katie Morris reads a story from the book of Matthew chapter 22:36-40, reminding us us of the important things we should do each day as we live our lives, and introduces Central's virtual vacation Bible school, Compassion Camp. The story today comes from Growing in God's Love: A Story Bible and we are grateful to Flyaway books for the opportunity to share these stories.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE

Reverend Dave Colby leads Prayers of the People

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Solo

Central section leader David Winkworth sings Beautiful City (from Godspell) with accompaniment by Jayson Enquist.

Offering

If Central is your church home, we encourage you to continue your tithes and offerings during this season. In so many ways, the work of Central is more important than ever before as we step up to serve those lacking important resources of daily living. This will be a week of free virtual activities aimed at K-5th graders, but with adaptable pieces for all ages. Contact Katie Morris for more information or to sign up!

Connection Circles.jpg

JOIN THE CIRCLE ON THURSDAY!

The Deacons of Central are pleased to continue the recently launched Connection Circles with a 6-week series this coming next month.  Connection Circles are teleconference Zoom sessions offered to provide an avenue for the Central community to connect and share a directed conversation, share concerns and offer support.  The series will be on Thursdays from 5 - 6:00 p.m. and running until July 9.  Participants can be a part of one or as many as you like! For the Zoom access information, check the mid-week eConnect email newsletter each week or email Anna Sanchez in the church office.

SAVE THE DATE FOR THE WOMEN’S NETWORKING DINNER

The Women’s Networking Group will be connecting for another fun Zoom gathering on Wednesday, June 17th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.. This gathering is simply to share fellowship with one another.  To provide support to one another.  To be together as women of Central.

Our original plan was to go to Pazzaluna in June.  Sadly, we can't do that, but, we can join together to share stories, dreams, experiences, wishes, favorite foods, anything that resonates for us these days. And, if you have something you wish to share that connects for you to Italy, bring that idea/story/experience with you.

The Zoom access info will be shared in the upcoming mid-week emails or you can request it directly from the Women of Central at women@centralforgood.org.

CONNECT WITH US
We invite you to check out our Facebook page every Sunday mornings between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. when our staff will be posting questions and photos and inviting you to share what your worship looks like.  Join us with your cup of coffee and ‘Pass the Peace’ on our Facebook page

QUESTIONS AND EMERGENCIES
If at anytime you have questions, concerns or ideas, we invite you to reach out to our staff who will continue to be available.  While voice mail will be checked as staff are able, we encourage you to send emails for more immediate response.  If you have a pastoral emergency, please call 651-224-4728 ext. 102 and the voicemail will provide instruction to reach the pastor.
