Worship Online

Central’s Session has agreed that it is in the best interest of all who worship at Central, and all who are served by our community, to cancel all in-person worship and activities at Central through April 30th.  We believe this is the right decision to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe, protecting the most vulnerable of our population while reducing the further spread of Coronavirus. Every Sunday, new content will be posted to this page for a worship-on-demand experience that you can view anytime throughout the week. To see prior Sunday content, see the bottom of this page.

For those without regular internet access, we are mailing worship materials via postal mail. If you have limited web access or know of someone in need of mailed content, please contact Anna Sanchez or call (651) 224-4748. If you are facing a pastoral emergency or have questions, our staff will continue to available to support you. See the bottom of the page for contact information and referrals.

Offering

If Central is your church home, we encourage you to continue your tithes and offerings during this season. In so many ways, the work of Central is more important than ever before as we step up to serve those lacking important resources of daily living. You can give one time or set up a recurring payment by clicking on the donate button to the right.

CONNECT WITH US
We invite you to check out our Facebook page every Sunday mornings between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. when our staff will be posting questions and photos and inviting you to share what your worship looks like.  Join us with your cup of coffee and ‘Pass the Peace’ on our Facebook page.

CHECK OUT OUR SERMON ARCHIVE
Want to revisit a recent sermon from Central? Check out our Sermon Archive on the website and download many of Rev. Colby’s recent sermons from the past few months.

QUESTIONS AND EMERGENCIES
If at anytime you have questions, concerns or ideas, we invite you to reach out to our staff who will continue to be available.  While voice mail will be checked as staff are able, we encourage you to send emails for more immediate response.  If you have a pastoral emergency, please call 651-224-4728 ext. 102 and the voicemail will provide instruction to reach the pastor.

CHECK IN
Our staff along with Central’s Deacons are working to stay connected with everyone to ensure this time of distance remains meaningful and safe.  If at anytime you have health, safety, or prayer needs to be met, we invite you to email the church office or call (651) 224-4728.

LET’S ZOOM!
Central staff and committees have begun using a teleconferencing service called Zoom to connect with each other using video.  In addition to committee meetings, Katie Morris is doing Zoom check-ins with children and youth of our congregation, Jennifer Anderson with the choir and musical groups, and Maureen Smith will soon be doing them for Bible study.  If you have an interest in Zoom gatherings with others at Central, this service is free for meetings up to 40 minutes and Central has an account for longer meetings.  To learn more, go to www.zoom.us or contact the church office.

NEWSLETTER
In response to the many church changes, our April newsletter is being revised and rethought.  We anticipate a publication dedicated towards sharing resources and alternative content from the usual pattern.  It will be distributed later than usual but will be sent as soon as we can.
