Join us for worship this weekend!
Sunday, January 20 at 10:30 am
In Paul's correspondence with the church in the city of Corinth, there is a great deal of concern about trying to create a vibrant, unified church rather than one that threatens to break up into factions. What does it mean to be a strong, healthy church with lots of different foci and strengths? Following worship, all are invited to partake in one of Central's strengths, a Third Sunday Lunch. Central Choir sings.
Wednesday Lunch Menu
JANUARY 16, 2019
Loaded baked potato soup
Smoky tomato broth with farro
Chocolate cake with orange frosting
Lunch is served Wednesdays 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

FEBRUARY 9 & 10 - 4:00 P.M.
VocalPoint is an intense choral experience that challenges people through music to build a better world. This year, VocalPoint will be partnering with Walk-In Counseling Center, which provides free mental health counseling services. VocalPoint will be telling their story on how we can hold space for others when they are needing someone to listen without judgement. Tickets are $15 advance, $20 at the door and $10 students.
From the News Blog
“Into this darkness we declare that something new is coming, and so during Advent, we wait. We wait in the darkness, we wait in the absence, we wait in the silence. We wait for what we believe is right up ahead of us, on its way.”
Rev. David Colby / Read the Full Sermon from December 23, 2018
