teacher Recognition and graduate

Sunday is June 1!

Plan to attend worship on June 1 as we thank our teachers and recognize our graduates!  A few requests:  If you have been blessed by our staff teachers (and we all have!) please consider dropping off a card for them before worship on June 1.

If you participate in the Central community and are graduating from High School, post-secondary school, or other higher education please talk with Jennifer Anderson by May 27 so that we include you.  You will be asked to participate in the service that morning.

FAQ

Who is this event for?

All kiddos, from birth through 5th grade. Members, friends, classmates, neighbors…all are welcome!

What kinds of things will you do?

We’ll have lots of fun with different activities available throughout the evening, such as games, crafts, movies and snacks. Kids will be able to freely choose what activities they want to do. (The Littles will not be “free range”… we’ll make sure to keep them in the nursery for their safety!)

Should my child eat dinner before they come?

That’s probably a good idea; however, if you’re running out the door and short on time, we will have plenty of snacks to keep everyone happy.

Will this be religious?

No. While Central is a faith community, this particular event is not religious. It is a safe, fun event without any religious connections.

Who will be supervising my children?

Staff (adults who are professionals and passed background checks), Adult Volunteers, and Youth Volunteers. Adults will be in each room, and youth will be assisting.

What happens if I need to pick up my child in an emergency?

Please call 651-789-9612 if you need to reach us during the event in an emergency.

My child has special needs. Can they attend?

Of course! If your child has special needs, please contact jennifera@centralforgood.org ahead of time so that we can get to know your child, and to make sure we have the resources to ensure your child has a wonderful time!

What kind of church is this?

Well, we hope a good one! We know and love that families come in all shapes and sizes; we don’t think we have all the answers but if we can lend a hand, we will; and we actively work against Christian Nationalism in all its ugly forms.
