Every Wednesday from 11:45 to 1 pm, Central welcomes our neighbors from all walks of life for a made-from-scratch lunch every, prepared by Chef Barb Westman and her team.
Our Wednesday lunches are special for two reasons. First, the food is genuinely great (read the Pioneer Press article below!). And second, everybody eats, regardless of their ability to contribute financially. If it’s not in the cards this week, you’re still welcome to come on in. If you’re in a position to “pay it forward” for somebody else, we thank you.
In a world in which we’re often divided by social and economic situations, you can come to a place where those barriers are broken down on Wednesdays from 11:45 to 1:00 p.m. here at 500 Cedar Street. Come on in!

Lunch is served each Wednesday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to everyone. There is a suggested donation of $10 and all who are hungry are invited to eat, regardless of their ability to donate.
We accept credit card donations and offer takeout meals. Simply ask for to-go containers as you enter the line. Love the breads? Most weeks there are extra loaves for a $5 donation- but get there early, they go fast!
